Rev Lenita Tiong shared with the Girls' Brigade Malaysia Officers in its National Officers' Retreat held in Sibu from 30th May to 2nd June five pointers using a hand so that we could remember better.

The Thumb -
Ability to build up and not tear down.
(Always thumbs up!)

The index finger -
See potential in person, see down the road.
(looking all the way down, look far into the future.)

The middle finger -
Tolerence with mistakes, courage to speak.
(tendency to make mistakes, but learn to tolerate)

The ring finger -
Patience - time needed for development.
(marriage does take a lot of patience!)

The little finger -
Flexible to people and circumstances.
(ever imagine what wonders the little finger can do?)

Mentoring aims at character formation and spiritual transformation.
