(briefly) Sisters Angela Buat, 11, and Marina, eight, want to wear pretty dresses, play with dolls, eat nice food and most of all, go to school - just like their peers.But the povery-striken siblings can't even have their stomach filled without having to scour for food in garbage bins around Rambai road.
Their daily playground is a drain tunnel in front of an abandoned double-storeyed house where the family of five has been staying for over a month now....

I received a call from a paediatrician, also a good friend, early yesterday morning. He asked for the exact location of the house this family is staying. "I want to send my doctor and nurses there to see if these children are healthy. If they have no place to stay, I am going to keep them in the hospital."
Within hours, the family received assistance with welfare officer, nurses, paediatrician visiting them. According to the news report (read full report here), the children are now warded in the hospital! My friend was quoted as saying,
"All the children must stay at the hospital after their check-up until the Welfare Department has found a suitable home for the family."
"Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, heal the sick," (Matthew 10:8, Luke 10:9)
