MIRI: The Sarawak Children's Cancer Society (SCCS) yesterday received another donation of RM7,500 raised by a member of Democratic Action Party (DAP) through auctioning a red underwear, swelling the amount collected through Go Bald 3 to RM127,500.
Wearing a blue t-shirt with Superman logo, Dr Hew Kuan Yew put on red underwear outside his blue jeans, similar to the comic super hero, when he attended the party’s appreciation dinner held at Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club here on Monday night.
Dr Hew who is the party's election bureau publicity head had kept his promise to dress up as Superman if the party wins both Piasau and Pujut constituencies during the April 16 polls.

i consider myself quite liberal & yet i agree that it's in bad taste. he would have won more accolades shaving himself bald instead, in line with the society's theme.
