Word power

Sunday sermon's insights -

A careless word may kindle strife,
A cruel word may wreck a life,
A bitter word may hate instill;
A brutal word may smite and kill.

A gracious word may smooth the way;
A joyous word may light the day.
A timely word may lessen stress;
A loving word may heal and bless.
- author unknown

The next time before we utter a word,
T Is it true
H Is it helpful
I Is it inspiring
N Is it necessary
K Is it kind

Yes, THINK!

Unfortunately, most of us dont THINK enough! I Must learn to think and bite the tongue first .... before uttering anything!

How true. Once said can never be unsaid.

The old folks used to say that once a word had left the mouth, it could never be put back again...

yes, it's what that comes out of the mouth that defiles the body.

Yes how often we open our mouth to let out words which we regret later. But too late. Yes let's think before we say anything...thanks for the poem.
