Diet plan

I met a dietician with Queen Elizabeth's Hospital in Kota Kinabalu on Sunday night. I requested for a diet plan that will help me lose 2 to 5 kg.

It has been extremely difficult to lose that 2 to 5 kg despite my daily gym and being watchful over food.

I have been given a plan according to my height of 172 cm - I think this is extremely easy, and I have actually been taking less food than planned. Probably, it's the calories count on choice of food.

I have started the plan today -

Breafast

Wholemeal Bread 2 pcs (half tsp of jam or peanut butter)
or 4 pcs cream crackers or
4 tbsp of oat
+ one orange
+ one boil egg

Lunch

Half cup steamed rice
or 2 pcs of wholemeal bread
or 4 pcs of cream crackers
Vegetables (less oil)
Chicken (less oil without skin)
Guava

Dinner

Half cup steamed rice
vegetables (less oil)
Chicken or fish or pork (without skin, fat, less oil for cooking)
Banana

No food in between meals
Coffee/tea without sugar - no calorie

Target: 0.5 kg weight loss per week

There is really a lot to eat! In fact, there are not many changes to my present diet.

Changes are -

I stick to wholemeal bread
I spread bread with jam or peanut butter instead of butter
It's in fact a bonus of an egg!

For lunch and dinner, it's also a bonus, I have more rice and fruits.

Let's see whether it works!

Hi, add in two protein packed snacks in between meals.

Yan, you've probably reached a plateau, hence it's hard to lose more weight. I've read before that you've got to boost your metabolism, and this could involve indulging in something that you shouldn't indulge in, e.g. a burger, once in a while, to "jolt" your metabolism… I think our body just knows when we're trying to starve it by eating not enough, by storing as much calories as it could.. so no matter how little we eat, the weight don't seem to come off. I like your meal plans though.. you're right, they are not that difficult. The difficult part for me, is the occasional craving in between meals. :D Well, hope you'll reach your weight loss objective in no time! ;)
