Reading between lines,

… listening to unsaid words…

I was invited to a tea party with some law enforcers early this week. The invitation did not come as a tea party, but as a request to be present for some inquiries into articles published regarding the department. Old problems, open secret, but the department prefers not to dig out the things in the bushes!

I was not expecting a party. So, I did my homework. Reading every word in the articles in question and reading between lines.

I also prepared a mental script with the theme – remain calm, friendly without compromising on my professionalism and status.

I whispered a little prayers before I went.

All set!

It was tough. But I believe with the wisdom from above, I fared well and lived up to my script!

Now, it leaves only to those words unsaid …

And the coffee and cakes served that remain untouched!

“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him —
(1 Cor 2:9)

Dear P.

God indeed is actually there. When we feel that no one is watching...His all seeing eyes are there. And often I did not need a defence lawyer or a friend to shout for me...I am glad God is there to help ...Your story helps to remind us that He is there.

what a pity, that a meeting over coffee and cakes turned out to be hostile. But thank God you are wise to know what should be done, given the circumstances.
